Here are a few points about what happens next:
Let's Celebrate!
This is an amazing achievement and we'd like to celebrate with you all. So please join us at the annual Bath City FC Community Day on Saturday 8 October, 3pm at Twerton Park. This is a special match where we invite people to "pay what you want" on the gate - usual price £13 adults, £2 children, but you can choose what you pay - and experience the thrill of live football on your doorstep.
PLUS - join us for drinks in Charlie's Bar at the ground straight after the match, and then we'll open up the adjacent Randall's for a party from 6pm featuring a live band.Bid team members will be on hand wearing Bid t-shirts to say hello and help with any questions or offers of help.
All are welcome - please come along - Saturday 8 October!
Share and Donation Payment
If you have invested or donated, here's what happens next:
- If you signed up via Microgenius last year and re-confirmed your pledge, the money will be taken from your account today. If you didn't re-confirm, your details will simply be cancelled.
- If you sent us money or a cheque last year and re-confirmed, we will simply retain the money and process your share application. If you didn't re-confirm we will return your money to you by cheque.
- Those of you who bought shares or donated by Crowdfunder this year will have received a notification by email and the money will be deducted from your account at the end of next week.
- If you have transfered money or sent a cheque this year, we will retain it and process your application.
Share Process
Meetings will now be held between the Board and the Society to finalise the legal transactions, with an EGM being held in the near future to enable the Club’s shareholders to vote to increase the authorised share capital and for the new shares to be acquired by the Society.
The Supporters Society will also meet separately to begin the process of issuing community shares to applicants once funds have been drawn down from Microgenius and Crowdfunder.
We will all work as quickly, but as carefully as possible to implement the share issue and steps outlined in the prospectus, and will keep you informed every step of the way.
Thanks once again for all your support. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 8 October, 3pm at Twerton Park.
