What's your favourite Bath City moment?
A pre-season friendly against Manchester City (not long after they were champions of the (then) 1st Division). The result was 5-5, and I remember Tony Book, Mike Summerbee and possibly Colin Bell (it was a long time ago). It would be nostalgic and amusing to see how other senior BCFC supporters remember that happy day...
What made you want to join the Society?
I was born in Bath, but my working life since I qualified in 1980 has been in Nottinghamshire. However I have always kept my ear to the ground about the goings-on at Twerton Park. The various crises that have befallen the club have given me cause for concern, so I felt the least I could do was become a member of the Supporters' Society and put some of my money where my mouth is.
Where do you usually stand at the ground?
We have a greyhound, Mr Piper, who we bring to the game. He can get a bit bored, so I often take him for a walk around the ground while my wife watches the game from the stand next to Innox Park.
Do you have any matchday rituals?
Getting the back of our hands stamped at half time so we can have a drink in Randall’s Bar.
