What does community ownership mean to you?
People power. I like the idea of a community taking charge of its own assets, being empowered to influence change, and of any benefit generated being channelled back into that same community. It’s also a no-brainer in terms of making use of the resources, skills and passion of a much wider group of stakeholders.
What's your favourite Bath City moment?
The glorious win against Torquay in January 2019. It was an incredible match with an electric atmosphere and such a dramatic last-minute victory. I’d brought family along with me for the first time and couldn’t have chosen a better match for it- it was totally euphoric!
Where do you usually stand at the ground?
I move around a bit usually. I prefer the atmosphere on the popular side but now that I’ve got a baby in tow I’ll probably be spending more time in the family stand!
Do you have any matchday rituals?
I always aim to come early and get a drink but then end up rocking up just in time for kick-off and treating myself to some cheesy chips during the first half while catching up with people. I have a quick drink at half time, then usually head off after the final whistle and visit my parents to give them an incoherent match report in exchange for dinner.
