​As the club's majority shareholder, the Society's role is to make community ownership a success at Bath City FC by encouraging the direct participation and involvement of its members, supporters and local people in all aspects of the club.
The Society safeguards democracy, accountability, transparency and good governance at the club. It elects its own Society Committee and also elects six of the Club's nine directors. It is democratically accountable to its members.
Annual membership of the Society is open to all.  By joining the Society, you will become a co-owner of the club, support community ownership at Bath City FC and help shape the future of the club.
Members can:
  • Attend general meetings of the Society and vote on matters of importance to the club's future
  • Propose motions for debate and vote at general meetings
  • Receive regular communications from the Society on the club's progress towards its business and community objectives
  • Elect the Society Committee
  • Stand for election to the Society Committee
  • Elect the Club Board
  • Stand for election to the Club Board
All members will also receive a Supporters Society pin badge.

​The Society recognises x2 membership types currently.  The entitlements (including voting rights) are consistent across all membership types.  The memberships types are a recognition of the historical financial commitment made by a member.
Gold Members (£5pa)
There are three ways members qualify for Gold membership. 

  • Original Society members who invested at the inception of the Society - c2001
  • Community Share Holders* who invested as part of the Big Bath City bid – c2016
  • Members who have accumulated more than £250 of annual subscriptions
Silver Members (£24pa)
Members who pay a monthly or annual subscription and who are not Gold, members are automatically classified as Silver members​

ALL Members can:

  • Receive regular communications from the Society on the club's progress towards its business and community objectives

  • Stand for election to the Club Board
  • Elect members to the Society Committee
  • Stand for election to the Society Board

NB*  Community Shareholders are entitled to complimentary free membership to the Society – based on the contribution made when purchasing Community Shares at the time of the Big Bath City Bid
 
£250 =                         1 year complimentary membership (expires 2017)
£500 =                         2 years complimentary membership (expires 2018)
£1,000 =                      3 years complimentary membership (expires 2019)
£5,000 or more =        10 years complimentary membership (expires 2026)
